Going backpacking Thailand, August-Sept, any routes/ideas/tips/advice?
Hey
I'm going backpacking in asia for 7 weeks, from august to september. I'm from the UK. Just wonder if anyones got any ideas about a route i should take? i Want to go vietnam laos and cambodia, but also wanna be in Ko Phangan for the full moon parties
Anyone been during them months? Whats the weather like? Also how much money should i realistically be looking to take. I mean i plan to stay in some sort of hostel/hut every night (as apposed to a tent) and i dont want to be living too rough, but i also dont plan on dining at restaurant every night etc
Any other info would be much much appreciated.
Thanks!

August-Sep should be nice time to visit Koh Samui.
There are waterfalls, monkey training, Muay Thai camps.
Chaweng beach is long and nice. Fishes are around me when I went swimming there.
