thanks spanky

I was in Thailand, Laos, Vietnam and Cambodia for two months with my girlfriend. We spent less than £1000 per month between the two of us. We stayed in decent budget hotels, ate in good budget restaurants, visited all the sights by tuktuk or taxi, cruised Ha Long bay and made two internal flights! Beer is as cheap as Coca Cola so you will breeze it with your money no worries!

About Thailand

Thailand occupies the western half of the Indochinese peninsula and the northern two-thirds of the Malay Peninsula in southeast Asia. Its neighbors are Burma (Myanmar) on the north and west, Laos on the north and northeast, Cambodia on the east, and Malaysia on the south. Thailand is about the size of France.

The Capital of Thailand,  we called Bangkok .

What's the weather like in Thailand ? What time is sunset ?

It's hot, all year round day and night - Bangkok was actually recognized as the hottest city in the world by the World Meteorological Organization. This is mainly down to the fact that there's minimal variation between the daytime and nighttime temperature. Daytime temperatures will rarely dip much below 30 degrees and can go up above 40 degrees centigrade. The hottest months are April - June, and November - March are the coolest. The cool season is more pronounced in the north of the country, the south has little variation at any time of year.

There is a rainy season during July to October, but travel during this period is not so bad Sunset is around 6.00 - 6.30pm all year round.
