Holidays To Laos

Southeast Asia over Xmas and New Years?

We're going on our honeymoon over the holidays. We're planning on traveling through Thailand, Laos, Vietnam and Cambodia. Our schedule is wide open. My question is, where would be the best place to spend Xmas and/or New Years in that part of the world? Has anyone been there at that time and would like to make some recommendations?

i would suggest you spend christmas & new year in the philippines. they have the longest christmas season & the shopping there would be fantastic. you can go to the beaches of boracay & palawan or bohol. nice eats , accomodations at a low budget price.

Holidays To Laos

Please forgive misuse of this travel in USA section?

In UK we often call Americans but in a recent visit I received nothing but hospitality patience and kindness, in Laos Angles, Palm Springs, Vegas, and San Francisco and other places. I thank them all and that includes the Immigration at Los Angeles who I could not fault.
The American dream is not my dream but I thank you all. However, I wish I could get a decent cup of tea in USA and can understand why you throw the stuff overboard at Boston. I forgive you on the grounds that you can not get everything right. Once again to those I met thank you for a wonderful holiday
carolus. please I was not being sarcastic I meant what I said. I had a wonderful holiday and the people I met were friendly and very polite. I could not fault them except for the tea problem. This is caused by the fact that they do not infuse the tea with boiling water. I do not know why but hot water does not do the trick

SO PLEASED YOU ENJOYED
