The Night and Luxury of Bangkok's First Hotel

Dusit Thani Bangkok Hotel is one of the most luxurious and exemplary hotels which represents Bangkok's boundless variety and vivacity. Its proximity to the city center of the Silom area guarantees immediate access to an endless choice of events, activities, and sightseeing. Business and leisure travelers will find the Dusit Thani Bangkok Hotel quite incomparable to any other accommodations nearby in its superiority. Bangkok is a great city to explore and experience the many unique sights available. Compared to other international cities, Bangkok is one of the cheapest. Travelers can enjoy a tropical adventure while having modern amenities and accessories easily accessible.

With over 500 rooms and exquisitely designed silk and teakwood furnishings throughout the hotel, guests will be delicately mesmerized. There is also a Deluxe Club Lounge for business travelers on the go. Meeting Room, Banquet, and Ballroom facilities are also available.  Deluxe Grand rooms are 60 square meters, while the 80 square meter Heritage Suites are designed to represent characteristics of ancient Thai capital cities and has its own separate bedroom and living room. For an ultra sumptuous experience in luxury, guests can try the Majesty Suite, which is 320 square meters. After guests get settled in, they can relax at one of the several lounges and bars around the hotel grounds. Watching the water cascade down the wooden terraced waterfall at the Benjaron Terrace Bar or going inside to the MyBar nightclub, is a great to get the evening started. The adventurous and hip can hit the bars and clubs right outside in Silom, later in the night. Dusit Gourmet has an excellent bakery with just about anything Sipping on a cocktail and chatting with the many interesting travelers that frequent the hotel can put anyone at ease.

Bangkok is an Eclectic Mix of Thailand's Culture

Situated between the countries of Burma, Laos, and Cambodia, Thailand is a curious mixture of western and eastern influences. It caters to the sophisticated and down-to-earth. Its capital, Bangkok, is a city of contrasts. It is a modern city with approximately ten million inhabitants, the city sprawls out from several city center urban points to suburban areas ever merging and developing at a brisk rate.  Bangkok is a vibrant city, and there is always something new to discover as old establishments close while new ones open up throughout the city.

Thailand is a land of tropical extremes. Much of the country is made up of farmland with rice and other indigenous crops being harvested from the central plain. The main river, The Chao Phraya, provides water for a large percentage of the country. The northern section of the country is mountainous and has a slightly more temperate climate compared to the rest of the country. If it is your first time to Thailand, then by all means go to see Wat Phra Kao otherwise known as the Temple of the Emerald Buddha. Another world famous temple is Wat Arun next to the river. You can also explore this seldom seen suburb of Bangkok called Thonburi in which this temple is located. An interesting place to go in this area is the Santa Cruz Church, which has a rich history from when Portuguese priests first came to Thailand. It is best to find out when the church building is open beforehand, as it has specific viewing hours for tourists.
