How do I travel by road or train to Laos or Cambodia from Bangkok, Thailand?

No trains in Laos, and only one in Cambodia which does or does not run depending on who you ask. You can travel by train in Thailand to the borders but then it's bus from there.

Travel - Laos to Cambodia?

What would be the options of travel between Laos (the capital city probably) and Cambodia (Phenom Pehn or Siem Riep). Anyone know the cost and time too?

The only Airline you can fly from Vientaine (VTE) to Siem Reap (REP) or Phnom Pehn (PNH) on Laos Air for about $150 US. I would guess about 1.5 hours. But you have to check as they don't fly ever day

I think you could also get a flight on Bangkok Airlines from Luang Prabang (LPQ) for $150-200. 2hours.
Also Vietnam Airlines,Thai Airways or LaoAir
The problem is that many airlines have reduced flights because of fuel cost and because these airports are off the beaten path, they don't fly every day you really have to check near you travel dates and hope they don't cancel the flight.
Road travel in Laos is very bad. They have buses but wow I wouldn't try it. The only other thing I would suggest is crossing into Vietnam where the buses/trains and air flights are better and then crossing back to Cambodia.
