best 4-6 week travel tour/group to see Laos,Viet Nam, Cambodia, Thailand leaving from CA for women?
One option is gateonetravel.com which offer tours in Asia. We took their offer of 11 days to Bangkok-Chiang Mai-Bangkok which was really cheap including the domestic flight.
Another option is go there on your own and inquire from local travel agents. Book a hotel from the internet. In the hotel lobby, compare the prices of tours from the different travel agents. Or look out for tours offered in the airport. Try to ask for discounts since you are traveling in a group.
I would not recommend touring by yourself as I am not as adventurous as the others, especially if I don't understand the local language.
