Philippines Tourism
Philippines tourism has usually been typified in the past as an eventful experience of the exotic archipelagos, sprawling with undiscovered wildlife, lush forests, and indigenous people with mystical and colorful traditions. Although that would easily describe over seventy-one hundred of the beautiful islands within this tropical nation, there is a city known to Southeast Asia as "Global City" which is an exploding metropolis over looking the Chinese sea which will redefine your paradigm.
About 15 minutes southeast of Manila you will find a city called Fort Bonifacio Global City, or simply Global City. What was once a humble military base which acted as a base of operations for the training of the countries guard against invasion by sea is now home to multi-billion dollar local and foreign investments which have spawned high rise luxury condominiums that are filled with a completely international population.
That population chooses to leave their homelands behind for an almost majestic and certainly hypnotizing view of the setting sun exploding off of the blue Chinese Sea like fire dancing across the water have given local vendors all of the initiative needed to build a one of a kind experience that is a lustful combination of the beauty of every country recognized by the United Nations, and several that are not.
The result is multi-storied super clubs that are world class, five star restaurants that are absolutely magnificent, and shopping centers that put ecstasy into the wide eyed women and a chill into the stomach of the men who have to pay!
Every few blocks you will see something so amazingly elegant and intuitive that it takes your breath away, and a few steps farther you see something so comforting and welcoming that it breathes it directly back into you.
Welcome to the new version of Philippines tourism. Gone are the days of seclusion and isolation. Welcome to the era of a worldwide amalgamation of culture and a night life so erotic, Vegas bushes and rightly so.
They come from around the world to Party and Chew bubble gum, and bubble gum is almost out of fashion, get ready baby.
About the Author
My name is Matthew Gwapito and I am a man of divided interest. Half of my time is spent in San Francisco, the other half in the Philippines. While often distant from the place I call home, my heart, and hence my writing, is always reminicing of days in the south pacific where life was much more simple, beautiful, and rewarding.
Working abroad is as necasary for me as it is for others, but nearly everything I do, think, or write is one more mental step closer to the Philippines.
Between Philippines Tourism & Manila Nightlife, I am surprised I have time to write at all!
