Angkor Archaeological Park contains splendid remains of the Khmer Empire from the 9th to the 15th centuries. Here, one can also see the temples of Angkor Wat and Bayon, which are gorgeous and are very ornate. To get to Angkor, it's about a 20 minute car ride from Siem Reap.
