Why does all these people dispise us so much?
Should one persons' action speak for the rest of his people? Chai Vang killed 6 people in minnoseota and everyone freaked out and started saying that hmong are all savages. Well we don't happen to not bomb buildings, molest kids, eat human flesh, rape, and commit murder continuously. why are we the targeted group. We help the US in the vietnam war and our hmong people has suffered for so long. They watched as their houses burned to the ground their love ones getting killed, wives getting raped in front of them and unable to do anything. The US left them to die. They are still in those jungles fighting for America's cause and has hope that one day America comes back. Why the hell are we still in Iraq and not over there in Laos helping out thoes old folks. We lost more then you can ever imangine. Our homes, land, loved ones, eyes, legs, arms, and yet these thailand people dig up the dead hmongs and extract the bones for things that are unknow.Haven't we suffered enough already?
I'm sorry that actions and events have made you feel this way. In all honesty I didn't know the national origin of Chai Vang, and not everybody labels an entire people because of what one evil (or just disturbed) person does. However, the media feeds into the insecurity and fears of the general populous, not just in this case, but in nearly all cases where a tragedy of this magnitude has occurred.
Being imperfect and fear-full as we all are, many people unfortunatley take one tragic act and use it to define a whole people.
